He admitted robbing or arranging robberies at 11 banks in metro Detroit and Flint between October 2005 and November 2007 that netted more than $760,000.
He also admitted shooting a teller in the leg during a Nov. 14, 2007, robbery at Chase Bank in Sterling Heights and wounding a Detroit police officer who approached a Cadillac Escalade in which Jones was sleeping Dec. 11, 2007.
The gang earned its name by carrying AK47 assault rifles during the robberies.
Three other gang members have pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing: Terez Deon Rivers, 33; Frederick Samuel Humes Jr., 29, and Sparkle Eldridge, 23, all of Detroit.
Another defendant, Jawan Martin, 28, of Detroit, is set to be tried on Thursday.
He's accused of robbing seven banks with Jones and committing two Flint bank robberies
