AIKEN, SC (WIS) - The Aiken County Sheriff's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigationare investigating a bank robbery in Clearwater.
According to Aiken County authorities, it happened Tuesday afternoon at Regions Bank on Jefferson Davis Highway.
They say at 12:33 p.m., a man walked into the bank and asked a teller for a deposit slip.He walked to an island in the center of the lobby and wrote a note on the back of the deposit slip demanding money. He approached another teller, presented the note and receivedsome money. The man, who never displayed a firearm, then walked out of the bank

OTTAWA - Ottawa police are seeking two men after a robbery at the TD Canada Trust bank on Pretoria Avenue on Monday afternoon.
Police said two men entered the bank at about 1:30 p.m. and gave a teller a note demanding money. One of the men lifted his shirt to show a gun tucked in his waistband, police said.
The men fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. They were last seen near Orangeville and Booth Streets, police said.
